Abstract:
To provide a soft water supply facility which prevents a hardness leakage and which can reduce salt consumption by collecting water to a limit of an allowable water collection amount.SOLUTION: In a soft water supply facility, two water softeners 1A,1B are connected in series so that water conduction order can be switched, and they are also connected with a piping so that water conduction in each of water softeners is possible. In an intermediate piping 7 connecting a front stage water softener and a rear stage water softener, a hardness leakage detection piping 11 branching from the intermediate piping 7 is connected, and a hardness leakage sensor 13 is installed so that hardness leakage is detected by sampling water flowing through the intermediate piping 7. Until generation of hardness leakage in water to be treated flowing through the intermediate piping 7, water is collected in series connection of water softeners. When hardness leakage is detected, raw water is supplied to both water softeners in parallel, regeneration operation is carried out in a water softener that has been supplied first, and soft water is collected by a water softener that has been a rear stage. When regeneration is finished, soft water is collected with a water softener that has collected soft water as a front stage, and with a water softener that has performed regeneration as a rear stage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
