Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the reliability of a coupling by accommodating a holding member having a hooked part engaged with an engagement wall formed at the connection part of a pipe, in a connector body having an elastic arm having an engagement hook integrally and holding the pipe on the connector body through the holding member.
CONSTITUTION: Inside the axis core of a connector body 1, a cut window 9 is formed, penetrating through a small diameter chamber 3' which is continuous to a communication hole 4 on a connecting cylinder wall 2 such as rubber hose and whose diameter is spread and a stepped large diameter chamber 3 behind the small diameter chamber 3', and in opposed state to the peripheral wall of the large diameter chamber 3. An elastic arm 7 whose top edge is projected inward to form an engagement hook 5 integrally is installed, positioned at the cut window 9 at a part of the rear edge peripheral wall of the large diameter chamber 3. A seal ring member 6 made of rubber, etc., is installed in the small diameter chamber 3', and held by a bush member 10. In the large diameter chamber 3, a holding member 8 having an engagement part 8' which is engaged with an engagement hooking wall p' installed on a pipe P and a stepped wall 8' which is engagement-pressed by the engagement hook 5 is accommodated, and the pipe P is held by the holding member 8.
