To provide the solar battery module tile of high reliability capable of suppressing to give a bad influence to a terminal box even when rainwater enters the recessed part of the tile body housing a solar battery module.
A drain ditch 21 penetrating up to the outer end of the edge part is provided on the lower side edge part of the tile body 5 having on the upper face the recessed part 6 housing the solar battery module 7 to communicate with the recessed part 6. A bar-like ditch 22 continued along at least both the side edges of the upper edge and the upper part of the recessed part 6 is provided, and the module 7 is adhered to the recessed part 6 by a sealing material 31 provided over the substantially whole peripheral edge of the recessed part 6 including the bar-like ditch 22. A cable passing hole 26 is possessed in the bottom wall of the upper part, and a box housing recess part 25 extending in the vertical direction is provided on the substantial center part of the width direction of the recessed part 6 so that the upper part is positioned in the inside part 6a surrounded by the bar-like ditch 22. A terminal box 12 attached to the rear face of the module 7 is housed in the box housing recess part 25.
