To provide a solar cell module exhibiting excellent fire resistance and assembling performance and arranged such that an ineffective power generation region can be reduced without stretching the lead-out part of lead wires significantly to the outside from the side face of a rear surface protective member.
The solar cell module comprises a solar cell 1 sealed of adhesive resin 10 between fire resistant surface protective member 13 and rear surface protective member 2 wherein lead wires 5 from the positive and negative electrodes of the solar cell are introduced to a terminal box 6 arranged on the rear surface of the rear surface protective member through the side face part thereof and connected electrically with an external connection cable 7. The lead wires 5 are introduced to the terminal box along the surface of an electric insulating member at the side face part of the rear surface protective member locally coated with the electric insulating member 9. The lead wires 5 extending from the electrode parts of the solar cell to the terminal box are surrounded and sealed with adhesive resin and the outer surface of the adhesive resin is coated with the fire resistant surface protective member.
