The solar cell comprises a lighting part, a photoelectric conversion part, and a light guide part which guides the light from the lighting part to the photoelectric conversion part. Preferably, the light guide part is an optical fiber, and the photoelectric conversion part is a linear element. Furthermore, the linear element includes, preferably, a linear core material exhibiting conductivity at least on the surface, a functional layer covering the linear core material, and a conductive layer covering the functional layer. It is also preferable that the photoelectric conversion part includes a cell body, first and second linear electrodes arranged in the cell body, separately, a light diffusion body which diffuses the light guided from the outside of the cell body in the cell body, and an electrolyte filling the cell body, and that the light diffusion body is connected with the light guide part.
