Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase power generation of a solar beam collector by a factor of two or more by a structure wherein each panel is independent from the corresponding supporting face of a roof type structure and hinged along the ridge of the structure through an appropriate mechanism to turn about the ridge thus sustaining an inclination vertical to a solar beam. CONSTITUTION: A top edge part extending in the longitudinal direction of front and rear panels 2, 3 is aligned with the ridge HH' of a roof type structure 1 wherein the front and rear panels 2, 3 are constructed of a member 6 extending in the longitudinal direction, a lateral member 7 and intermediate lateral members 8, 9 and a solar light collecting means is mounted on that structure. A pivot hinge is fixed to a spacer 36 disposed between the intermediate lateral members 9 in front of the roof type structure 1 and three hydraulic jacks 34 are coupled with a hydraulic pressure control center 39 located at the base of the roof type structure 1. Subsequently, the rod of the hydraulic jack 34 is extended to turn the rear panel 3 about an axis HH' aligned with the ridge of the structure and lifted up to a position shown by a dot line so that the rear panel 3 functions as a solar light collector.
