Abstract:

To provide a solar simulator having a high degree of spectral matching, and a solar cell output characteristics measurement method.

Xenon light 21 from a xenon light source 2 is passed trough a 1.5 air mass filter 3, and then separated by a separation unit 4 into first xenon separation light 22 and second xenon separation light 23. The first xenon separation light 22 thus separated is passed through a wavelength conversion element 5 and converted into light in a long wavelength band. A solar cell 110 is irradiated with the first xenon separation light 22a thus converted together with the second xenon separation light.
