Abstract:
PURPOSE: To fix the stroke of a valve head so that fluid flow can be controlled with a high accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve 10 has a base 18 formed on the upper surface with a flow inlet 14 and flow outlet 16, a valve base 26 formed with a circular bore, an annular valve seat 30 aligned with the flow outlet 16 and a valve head 40 provided coaxially with the valve seat 30. On the valve base 26 is erected a case 42 for holding a core 44 surrounded by a solenoid 48. An annular disphragm 50 made of a non-magnetic body is fixed almost horizontally to the valve base 26. A core 44 extends through the diaphragm 50 opposedly to the valve head 40. The diaphragm 50 is also welded to the periphery of the core 44 and a sealed space is formed by the base 18, valve base 26, core 44 and diaphragm 50.
