PURPOSE: To obtain a solid cleanser composition containing both a higher fatty acid and an aluminum salt, capable of cleansing skins, giving a refreshing touch when rinsed, not causing the lose of moisture when dried, and giving a moist touch.
CONSTITUTION: The solid cleanser composition contains both a higher fatty acid (especially preferably lauric acid, myristic acid or palmitic acid) and an aluminum salt (especially preferably aluminum sulfate or aluminum chloride), preferably in amounts of 0.5-10wt.% and 0.5-10wt.%, respectively. The composition may further be mixed with a cool-feeling agent. The composition is obtained e.g. by dissolving the aluminum salt in an alkaline aqueous solution, saponifying an oil or fat with the aqueous solution, and subsequently adding the higher fatty acid to the obtained soap raw material. The cool-feeling agent includes 1-menthol, mint oil, peppermint oil, spearmint oil, camphor and thymol.
