Abstract:
To provide a solid electrolyte battery having an intermediate layer of LiNbO3 film as a buffer layer between a solid electrolyte layer and a positive electrode layer, in which cycle lifetime is improved.
The solid electrolyte battery is provided with a positive electrode layer, a negative electrode layer, and the solid electrolyte layer that performs conduction of lithium ions between the both electrode layers. An intermediate layer consisting of LiNbO3 in which a part of Li component of LiNbO3 is made into Li2CO3 is provided between the positive electrode layer and the solid electrolyte layer, and the ratio of composition (Li/Nb) of Li and Nb in the LiNbO3 film is 1.12≤Li/Nb≤1.20. The thickness of the intermediate layer is 2 nm-1 μm.
