To provide a solid electrolyte fuel cell having improved stability and reliability of electric connection between an electrode and an interconnector without reducing reaction fields; and to provide a method of manufacturing the same.
The solid electrolyte fuel cell is prepared by stacking a plurality of cells 1 each having two electrodes of a fuel electrode 2 and an air electrode 4, and a solid electrolyte 3 between them, the plurality of cells 1 being electrically connected in series through interconnectors 5 provided between the stacked cells 1. A plurality of fine conductive protrusions 6 are provided on at least one surface of the interconnector 5 opposing the electrode (air electrode 4), a plurality of fine flat portions 7 constituted by using a conductive material and a bonding material are provided on the surface of the electrode (air electrode) 4 of the cell 1 so as to oppose the plurality of fine protrusions 6. The interconnectors 5 and the cells 1 are electrically connected by the connection portions 8 constituted by the protrusions 6 and the flat portions 7.
