Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-liquid separator capable of easily recovering solid matter from a separate liquid recovered from a liquid cyclone without adding an exclusive dehydrator.SOLUTION: A solid-liquid separator 1 for separating solid matter from a suspension of including the solid matter, comprises a liquid cyclone 2 for separating into a separate liquid high in the solid matter concentration and a drainage low in the solid matter concentration by centrifugal separation from the suspension, a pump 5 for supplying the suspension to the liquid cyclone 2, a recovery container 3 for supplying the separate liquid discharged from the liquid cyclone 2, compressed air supply means 16 for supplying compressed air to the recovery container 3 and a water communication member 17 provided in a lower part of the recovery container 3, and in a state of recovering the separate liquid in the recovery container 3, water is forcedly removed via the water communication member 17 from the separate liquid by supply of the compressed air, and the solid matter in the separate liquid is recovered as dewatering cake.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
