To provide a system and a method which enable a stable feed of a solid matter suspension to a high-pressure system with a small amount.
A vessel 6 for supplying a solid matter is divided into a liquid injection chamber 2 and a solid matter injection chamber 4 by a movable partition object 5, and has a high-pressure ejection part 40 which can supply the solid matter suspension in the solid matter injection chamber 4 to the high-pressure system 14. A solid matter suspension supply system has, in addition to the vessel 6 for supplying the solid matter, a liquid storage tank 9, a solid matter storage tank 13, a liquid injection line 8 for connecting the liquid storage tank 9 and the liquid injection chamber 2 possible to be opened and closed, a liquid injection apparatus 7 which is arranged in the liquid injection line 8 and injects a liquid in the liquid storage tank 9 into the liquid injection chamber 2 in the high-pressure state, a solid matter injection line 12 for connecting the solid matter storage tank 13 and the solid matter injection chamber 4 possible to be opened and closed, and a solid matter injection apparatus 11 which is arranged in the solid matter injection line 12 and injects the solid matter suspension in the solid matter storage tank 13 into the solid matter injection chamber 4.
