Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a reference value by connecting photoelectric conversion elements by a mixing switch MOS and isolating the photoelectric conversion element of a photodetection section at the boundary region and the photoelectric conversion element of an optical black part by means of a insulation film for inter-element isolation insulation film to reduce a tailing current. CONSTITUTION:The photodetection section SA where plural photoelectric conversion elements PD are arranged in matrix and photoelectric conversion elements PD adjacent to an optical black part OB in the row direction are connected by a mixing switch MOSQM and the photoelectric conversion elements other than the mixing switch MOSQH are isolated by the inter-element isolation insulation film LOC and the photoelectric conversion elements at the border region between the photodetection section SA and the optical black part OB are isolated by the inter-element isolation insulation film LOC together with the region formed with the mixing switch MOSQM. The inter-element isolation insulation film LOC reduce the tailing current flowing between the photoelectric conversion elements PD.
