Abstract:
To solve the problem that shortening the total reading out time of all pixels in reading out without thinning an OB pixels but thinning effective pixels causes a different line-by-line reset period, leading nonuniform electric charge storing time.
A solid-state imaging apparatus shortens the time for selecting a skipping line than the time for selecting the line for reading out signal when skipping without reading the signal from a part of line of pixel in an effective pixel area of a solid-state imaging apparatus, and further, drives the pixels of an optical black pixel area and the effective pixel area with the drive pulse having different patterns.
