Abstract:
To provide a solid state imaging device for realizing desired improvement of characteristics while restricting a decline in a numerical aperture.
The solid state imaging device 1 has the structure in which an independent first conductive type region 9 separated from a photodiode 5 and a transistor, is provided in at least a part of two or more pixels 1a, and the independent first conductive type region 9 is so provided that this region 9 continues between adjacent pixels and arranged unevenly in each pixel.
