Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a solution, containing a protein, available in a simple process in a high yield without denaturing the protein and without causing the thermal denaturation of the protein in removing a solvent when used for various applications and provide a method for producing the solution.
SOLUTION: This solution containing a protein is obtained by immersing a material containing keratin in a solution containing a 3C alcohol and extracting the protein contained in the material containing the keratin. The solution containing the protein is prepared by immersing the material containing the keratin in the solution containing the 3C alcohol, then heating the solution at a temperature below the boiling point of the solution containing the alcohol under atmospheric pressure, solubilizing the protein contained in the material containing the keratin, extracting the protein and separating the extracted protein from insoluble residues.
