Abstract:

To provide a solvent-type coating composition having excellent water resistance and moisture resistance while keeping the excellent antimicrobial activities, and containing an iodine inclusion complex of methylcyclodextrin.

The solvent-type coating composition contains the iodine inclusion complex of the methylcyclodextrin, an alcohol and/or a polyhydric alcohol, and a thermoplastic resin.
