Abstract:
To provide a sorting apparatus capable of sorting first fibers with deposits of foreign matters from second fibers with foreign matters deposited in a smaller amount than the first fibers.SOLUTION: A sorting apparatus is characterized in that a fibrillated material containing first fibers with deposits of foreign matters and second fibers with the foreign matters deposited in a smaller amount than the first fibers comprises a charging part that charges and a sorting part that sorts the first fiber from the second fibers by utilizing a potential difference between the first fibers charged by the charging part and the second fibers. The charging part preferably charges the first fibers and the second fibers so as to show mutually different polarities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
