Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing assembly for vacuum cleaner, which is simply structured, can easily be assembled, and does not require so much manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A front cap 210 of a sound absorbing assembly 200 supports the foremost part of a motor assembly 220 to relieve vibrations generated when it 220 is driven. An air guide 230 surrounds part of the rear half of the motor assembly 220 to guide the air exhausted from it. A rear casing 240 surrounds the motor assembly 220 and air guide 230 and is fastened to the tapered inner end 214 of the front cap 210 by an open end 245 furnished with a tapered portion 246. The rear cap 250 is coupled with the rear end of the motor assembly 220, and this tail of assembly 220 is supported so as to relieve vibrations generated when the assembly 220 is driven.
