Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a playing sound generator of a video equipment and its method in which a playing keyboard is displayed on the screen of a video display device such as a TV receiver and corresponding playing sounds or various melodies are generated by using a microcomputer and a timer without employing a separate sound source generating element.
SOLUTION: The sound generating device consists of a remote controller 100, which outputs key signals, a sound generating section 200, which generates the sounds specified by key signals, a waveform forming section 300, which forms sound signals having a sine waveform configuration from the sound signals having a square waveform configuration outputted from the section 200, a mixer 40, which mixes the sound signals outputted from the section 300 and TV sound signals AUTV, and an amplifier 500 which amplifies the sound signals outputted from the mixer 400 to an appropriate level and outputs the signals to a speaker SP.
