Abstract:

To provide a sound reproducing device which mixes external sound with reproduced sound and outputs the mixed sound to a headphone when volume of the external sound around a viewer becomes equal to or more than a preset arbitrary threshold.

The sound reproducing device 1 to which the headphone 2 is connected, comprises a reproduction sound source 11 which outputs a sound signal, a microphone 16 which collects the external sound and outputs an external sound signal, an input level monitoring module 15 which detects the volume of the external sound by inputting the external sound signal and outputs the external sound signal when the volume of the external sound is equal to or more than the arbitrary threshold, a mixer 13 which inputs and mixes the sound signal and the external sound signal and an amplifier 13 which amplifies the sound signal and the external sound signal mixed by the mixer 13.
