Abstract:
To provide a soundproof cover for vehicle which is excellent in recyclability, and a method for manufacture thereof.SOLUTION: A foam body 24 is formed on a lamination plane 14 of a cover body 12 in a state that a processing part 22 projects to a front face side in such a manner that the cover body 12, on the lamination plane 14 of which a projection part 18 is formed, is installed in an attitude oriented to a die surface of a molding die of which a surface opposite to the lamination plane 14 is in a die opening state, and a foam raw material is foamed and cured in the die closed state that a processing part 22 provided at a projection end of the projection part 18 is inserted in a hole of the die surface. The foam body 24 is sandwiched between a retaining part 20, which is formed in such a manner that the processing part 22 projecting to the front face side of the foam body 24 is thermally crimped, and the lamination plane 14 of the cover body 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
