Abstract:

To provide a source device having an operator which is configured to perform a smooth rotation operation while an apparatus body is handled with one hand, and a reproduction system comprising the same.

A source device 2 is a source device 2 which is configured to communicate with content reproduction apparatuses 3, 4, 5, and comprises: a device body 11 which can be handled with one hand; and an operation unit for a reproduction operation, provided in the device body 11. The operation unit is hollow-formed in the device body and has a ring operation unit 12 for a rotation operation, formed in a toric manner having an arcuate, convex cross section. A reproduction system 1 comprises the source device 2, and the content reproduction apparatuses 3, 4, 5 which are configured to communicate with the source device 2.
