To provide a spacer automatic mounting system for an electric field discharge display having a large aspect ratio and mounting a lot of spacers at a high speed.
The spacer automatic mounting system includes: a horizontally aligning machine horizontally aligning a plurality of spacers on a horizontally aligining pallet 21; a vertically aligining machine 5 including a reversing device vertically aligning the plurality of the spacers on a vertically aligning pallet 50; a mounting base fixing the vertically aligning pallet 50 and a panel 9 applied with an adhesive; a vacuum sucking machine 70 vacuum-sucking the plurality of the spacers to the vertically aligning pallet 50; a guide-cum-pressurizing machine 80 guiding the plurality of the spacers to the panel 9; a first loader 91 moving the vacuum sucking machine to an upper side of the panel 9 with the vertically aligning pallet 50; a second loader 92 moving the guide-cum-pressurizing machine 80 to the upper side of the panel 9; and a controller controlling the vertically aligining machine 5, vacuum sucking machine 70, guide-cum-pressurizing machine 80, and first loader 91 and second loader 92, to mount the plurality of spacers on the panel 9.
