Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize an insertion loss by eliminating its variation.
SOLUTION: While a female optical connector ferrule 5 is equipped with a guide pin hole 6 for inserting a positioning guide pin protruding from the optical connector ferrule of the opposite part to be butt-connected, the optical connector spacer parts 8 arranged on the rear end of this ferrule 5 are fixed against it by engagedly inserting a connecting pin 12 into the guide pin hole 6 of the female optical connector ferrule 5. Such optical connector 1 is provided is structured that the optical connector spacer parts 8 as well as the optical connector ferrule 5 are assembled in the housing 2.
