Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker unit having a yoke structure for easily performing an improvement in a thinned casing and an improvement in a yield of a manufacturing process.
SOLUTION: This speaker unit forms a casing (6) of a speaker in combination with a yoke (1) made of a metal and a frame (2). The unit includes a magnet (3) and a plate (8) made of a metal on a surface of the magnet (3) at a center of the yoke (1) in the casing (6). The unit also includes a diaphragm (4) fixed at its outer periphery to the casing (6), and a drive coil (5) of a rectangular cylindrical shape fixed to a center of one surface of the diaphragm (4) and having a winding shaft perpendicular to the diaphragm. The yoke (1) has cut edge erected at a part of a long side (12) of a rectangular sheet metal and formed at four corners with protrusions (11).
