When this special light signal emitting machine of LED wide diffusion type is to be installed, the angle of the light emission surface is adjusted so that the beam of light Ri at one end to form the diffusion angle of a light emission surface is cast in the tangential direction of a curve C in a position on a straight line D2 of the track going beyond the curve C relative to the advancing direction of a train T running on a straight line D1 toward the curve C while the beam of light Le at the other end intersects the track on the straight line D1 before the curve C in a position at least farther than the visual confirming distance reckoned from the light emission surface.
