Abstract:
To provide a spectacle mount type image display device which is applicable to existent spectacles.
The spectacle mount type image display device includes an ocular optical unit 2b disposed within one eyeball visual field of an observer, and an image display unit 2a having a display element for displaying an image, and makes image light emitted from the image display unit 2a incident on the eyeball of the observer through the ocular optical unit 2b. At least one of the image display unit 2a and ocular optical unit 2b is fixed to and held by a hinge unit h1 which supports a temple 1f of the spectacles on the frame in a foldable state.
