Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed change control device of a toroidal type continuously variable transmission in which the bottom touch state of a servo-piston to the inner wall of a fluid chamber is avoided and the durability of a servo-mechanism is improved.
SOLUTION: A stroke regulation part for regulating the stroke of a servo- piston 78A is provided. This stroke regulation part is composed of a first collided part 60a and a second collided part 60b provided on a piston body 60 and a pulley come off stop washer 76 and nut loosening stop washer 80 connected to a piston boss part, 78c coaxially. When the servo-piston is stroked largely in a direction (full line arrow mark SU direction) in which a real speed change ratio becomes highest, the nut loosening stop washer is contacted with the second collided part 60b and the bottom touch state (the contact state of the servo-piston 78A with the inner walls of first/second oil chambers 90a, 90b) is avoided and when the servo-piston 78A is stroked largely in the direction (full line arrow mark SD direction) in which the real speed change ratio becomes lowest, the pulley come off stop washer 76 is contacted with the first collided part 60a and the bottom touch state is avoided.
