Abstract:
To provide a spherical graphite cast iron excellent in toughness without conducting removal of manganese.SOLUTION: There is provided a spherical graphite cast iron consisting of C:3 to 4 mass%, Si:2 to 2.7 mass%, Mn:0.55 mass% or less, P:0.1 mass% or less, S:0.03 mass% or less, Mg:0.03 to 0.06 mass%, Bi:0.001 to 0.01 mass%, Al:0.06 mass% or less, and the balance:Fe with inevitable impurities, and having pearlite ratio of a matrix structure of 30% or less, and graphite index of 250 to 500/mm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
