PURPOSE: To hold smooth transmission of a rotation to a spindle and to enhance durability, reliability.

CONSTITUTION: A plurality of spindles 3, 4 for winding are disposed symmetrically to a direction convertible turret 2, and a rotation is transmitted from a motor 14 of a winding machine body side to the spindles 3, 4 through a spindle rotary shaft 7 disposed at the turret 2 in a winding machine. A drive pulley 16 is mounted at the motor 14, and a driven pulley 9 is mounted at the shaft 7. Further, a belt 15 for coupling the driven pulley to the pulley 16 at a predetermined direction conversion side of the turret 2 and a regulating mechanism 17 for regulating a tension of the belt are provided. A temporarily placing pulley 20 is disposed at a position opposed to the pulley 9 of a coupling side, and a belt transfer mechanism 22 for moving the belt 15 between the driven pulley and the pulley 20 is provided.
