To provide the subject spinneret so designed that spinneret holes are mutually closely arranged inside compartments separated from one another by channels of specific structure so as to significantly increase the number of spun filaments and improve their productivity without sacrificing their quality.
This spinneret is so designed that spinneret holes 3a-3n on a spinneret disc are mutually closely arranged inside compartments 12a, 12b separated from one another by perforation-free channels 13 each with a width of ≥2 mm; this spinneret immersed in a coagulating bath is disposed so as to revolve about a rotating axis perpendicular to the spinneret disc; the channels 13 are arranged in a radially symmetrical fashion, each being 2-5 mm, pref. 3-4 mm in width, and it is preferable that the holes 3a-3n are radially arranged. This spinneret is suitable for producing elastan filaments by wet spinning process.
