PURPOSE: To enable the spinning of the product deformed excepting the circular cross section by rotating a deformation forming die at the low speed followable to the variation of the outer peripheral face of the deformation forming die by a spinning roller.

CONSTITUTION: The deformation forming die 11 in the shape excepting a circular cross section, for instance a hexagon, is fixed to the tip of the main shaft 10a driven with its rotation by a motor The metal plate stock 12 to be worked is pinched between the forming die 11 and tail stock 14 and a spinning roller 15 is pressed by a fixed pressure. In this case, an ordinary spinning speed is 300W1,200rpm, but in case of the deformation forming die 11, the rotation is performed at the low speed of 40rpm for example so that the spinning roller 15 can follow to the variation of the forming die outer periphery. The spinning of the deformed product of its cross section being square, hexagonal, octagonal, elliptical, etc., can therefore be performed.
