Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability in operation for attaching and detaching a spool holding device to and from a sewing machine.SOLUTION: A spool holding device allows a thread spool to be placed thereon. The spool holding device includes an engagement part which is detachably engaged with an attachment part provided on an arm part of a sewing machine. A support part is provided at the rear end of a cover member which covers the front upper side and the top front side of the arm part in an openable and closable manner. The attachment part allows the support part to be detachably attached thereto. Into the attachment part in a state in which the cover member is detached, the engagement part is inserted from the front side to the rear side of the sewing machine, and thereby the spool holding device can be attached to the sewing machine.
