A region in contact with slurry on a disk D has hydrophobicity. The hydrophobicity is applied to the region in contact with the slurry on the disk D by applying any one of fluororesin coating, water-repellent plating, and sticking of a fluororesin sheet thereto. The drying granulation of the slurry is executed by using a spray drying granulator provided with the disk D. The drying granulation of ceramic slurry is executed by using the spray drying granulator provided with the disk D to manufacture ceramic granules.
