Abstract:
To provide a spray drier utilizing farinfrared rays which can feed the calorie to the sprayed substance in a vaporizing chamber.
The air for drying (A) in a low pressure chamber 2 is fed into a vaporizing chamber 3 and a raw solution L consisting of a solution and/or dispersion to be dried is sprayed from a sprayer 4, and while supplying heat for vaporization from a farinfrared ray irradiation face 6 formed in the vaporizing chamber 3, the spray drying under reduced pressure is performed and the air (a) containing the vaporized water is excluded outside.
