Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monolithic refractory spray work method and a spray material which makes it possible to prevent a spray nozzle from being clogged and reduce rebound loss and execute stable and uninterrupted spray work and provide a spray material whose quality variation in a spray layer is minimum by spraying a monolithic refractory kneaded with a lower water content.
SOLUTION: A 2 to 8wt.% of water content is added to refractory powder and kneaded refractory is sprayed to a work surface 17 by way of a nozzle 14 where the spray work speed is specified to range from 2 to 10kg/Hr/cm2. The layer thickness of a spray constructed body 33 formed with a single scanning of a spray nozzle 14 is in the range from 10 to 120mm.
