Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To heighten the sealing effect of a valve piston to a working cylinder and shock absorbing effect on an upper abutting part by integrally connecting a seal ring, a damper ring and the valve piston.
SOLUTION: A compressed air reservoir 10 is communicated with a valve space 22 through a cavity 18, a tube 19 and a passage 21. Compressed air presses the upper part of a valve piston 24 and further presses the bottom part of the valve piston 24 in the upper area of a working cylinder 3. Pressure applied to the upper work surface of the valve piston 24, with the assist of a coil spring added thereto, becomes larger than the pressure applied to a lower work surface, so that the valve piston 24 is energized to seal the upper end of the working cylinder 3 together with a seal ring 42. A work space above a working piston 4 is communicated with the outside through a through hole 28 and radial discharge grooves 34, 35 of the valve piston 24 to exhaust air.
