Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a connector robust and durable to vibration and work excellently in outdoor severe environments by soldering a plurality of electric wires to spring pressure contacts to be coupled with a metal ring having a through hole and making angle change between the metal ring and the pressure contacts possible.
SOLUTION: A rotary connector 10 comprises mutually rotatable members 12, 13. The member 12 comprises phenol ring 12a having an aperture 14 to receive a shaft 11 and bearing a copper layer and form an electrically separated metal ring 15. A hole 16 is formed in rings 15 and insulated electric wires 17 are soldered to the rings. The wires 17 are led to a connector 18 to connect to an electric signal source or an electric power source. The member 13 is provided with a phenol plate having an aperture 21 for the shaft 11 or a ring 13a, which is mechanically worked to make pogo stick contacts 22 possible, and is so positioned as to be coupled with the electrically separated members 15. An insulated wires 23 are soldered to the bottom part of a contacts 22.
