PURPOSE:To stabilize a thermoplastic resin by compounding the resin with a combination of specific compds. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. excellent in weatherability, resistance to discoloration by weathering, and stability during thermal processing is prepd. by compounding a thermoplastic resin with 2,4-di-t-amyl-6-[1-(3,5-di-t-amyl-2 hydroxyphenyl)ethyl]phenyl acrylate and a hindered amine light stabilizer such as bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate.
