Title:
STABILIZING METHOD FOR MACHINE SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3416019
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a boring rod on a device which cuts a work piece by applying a cutting chip supported on the boring rod to the surface of the rotating work piece.
SOLUTION: This method is proyided with an error sensor 75 which detects the motion of the boring rod 30 in its normal direction (perpendicular to the surface of the work piece 55 at the point where the cutting chip 40 comes into contact with the surface of the work piece 55) and an error sensor 80 which detects the motion of the boring rod 30 in its tangential direction (parallel to the direction of the motion of the surface of the work piece 55 at the contact point). Further, the method is provided with a means which generates a reference signal corresponding to the signal from the error sensor and an adaptive filter which operates corresponding to the signals from the error sensor and reference signal generating means. A generalized force derived from the correction signal outputted by the adaptive filter is applied to the boring rod 30, which is stabilized.
