Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable fat emulsion comprising a compound having prostaglandin E1 activity with a long effective period.SOLUTION: A fat emulsion containing a compound having prostaglandin Eactivity is sealed in a glass container with the inner surface being applied with a film coat, followed by heat sterilization, where the residual amount of the prostaglandin Eactivity after preservation at 5°C for 16 months is 65 to 100% of that at the start of preservation, and the variation of the alprostadil amount between glass containers containing the fat emulsion after heat sterilization is a relative standard deviation of 1.0% or less.
