Title:
STABLE SORTING DEVICE FOR ROTARY SORTING HULLER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3449760
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To stabilize sorting action and improve sorting performance by a method wherein a grain return plate is provided inclining along the surface of a fluidized layer formed off-center on the upwardly rotatzng side of the inner peripheral surface of a bowl type sorting body for sorting out mixed rice.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary sorting part C of a rotary sorting huller has mounted coaxially therewith a sorting body 1 provided with an infinite number of bowls 15 formed in its inner peripheral surface and further provided with an unpolished rice receiving trough 3 and a mixed rice transfer trough 4 therewithin in juxtaposed relation. The sorting body 1 is rotated to cause the lifting action of the bowls 15, which makes a difference in the distance that the mixed rice flies describing a parabola, whereby the mixed rice is separated into unpolished and unhulled rice. When a mixed rice fluidized layer P is formed on the upwardly rotating side of the sorting body 1, a grain return plate 2 is provided inclining entirely from rearward to forward of the sorting body 1 in such a manner as to cover the fluidized layer P. A pressure valve 2a is also provided which can adjust a gap M between the upper side of the fluidized layer P and the overhead inner peripheral surface, thereby ensuring a stable sorting action.
