Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-base cream of an organosilicon compd. which is stable during storage, is easily applied, and is used for making porous building materials and building coating films hydrophobic.
SOLUTION: This cream contains a (1-20C) alkyl-(2-6C) alkoxysilane or an alkoxylated organopolysiloxane (A), if necessary an organopolysiloxane (B) having basic nitrogen groups bonded additionally through SiC bonds to other organosiloxane units (provided the amine number of the organopolysiloxane is at least 0.01), and an emulsifier (C). This cream does not pollute the environment and has no physiological problem.
