To secure simply concentricity in an inner cylinder arranged in a center of an axel of an outer cylinder in a multiple-cylinder type hydraulic shock absorber.
There is provided a multiple-cylinder type hydraulic shock absorber including the inner cylinder 2 arranged concentrically to the center of the axel of the outer cylinder 1. In a stably fixing structure of an aligning member including an aligning member 10 whose upper end lateral side 10a is coupled integrally to a lower end of the inner cylinder 2 while being supported on a bottom member 3 which closes a lower end of the outer cylinder 1, the aligning member 10 includes a lower end lateral side 10b which is cylindrically formed and whose lower end is consecutive to the upper end lateral side 10a to be allowed to be seated on an inner bottom surface 3a of a bottom member 3. The bottom member 3 is formed in a protruding manner toward an inside of the inner cylinder 2 to be located adjacently to an inside of the lower end lateral side 10b in the aligning member 10 and includes, in the inner bottom surface 3a, a protrusion 3b whose outer circumference is opposed to an inner circumference of the lower end lateral side 10b in the aligning member 10. Then, an outer circumferential position of the protrusion 3b is parallel to a circular line concentric to the aligning member 10.
