Abstract:
To provide an austenitic stainless steel sheet for spring, excellent in spring threshold value, and a manufacturing method of the same, and the spring manufactured by using the same.
This austenitic stainless steel sheet for spring has the following characteristics, that (1) the thickness is 50-800 μm, (2) the spring threshold value (Kb0.075) is ≥400 MPa, and (3) the residual stress on the surface and at the center part of the cross-sectional surface is <50 MPa. Further, the method for manufacturing the austenitic stainless steel sheet for spring, is composed of; a process, in which the austenitic stainless steel sheet is passed through a roller-leveller having upper roll and lower roll under 0-5 kg/mm2tension; and a process, in which an aging heat-treatment is applied to the above passed-through steel sheet in the temperature range of 50-550°C.
