PURPOSE: To obtain a stamper which is strong and excellent in smoothness by bonding a lined reinforced material to the stamper rear surface, and separating the stamper after a guide groove is transferred to an ultraviolet ray hardening resin on a substrate from the stamper.
CONSTITUTION: A nickel electroforming stamper 2 is mounted on an iron plate 1 with a groove surface upward and an ultraviolet ray hardening resin 3 is applied onto the surface. Continuously, a glass plate 4 processed by a silane coupling agent is overlapped, and after the resin 3 is rolled, the resin 3 is hardened by an ultraviolet ray lamp 8. Next, after the plate 1 is removed, a stamper lining member 5 is bonded by a room temperature hardening type adhesives such as an epoxy system. Finally, the surface of the resin 3 and the stamper 2 is separated and a lined reinforced stamper 7 is obtained. Thus, an optical disk substrate with a groove can be manufactured which is very smooth, small in quantity of swell and is equal in the thickness of the resin.
