This stand-riding type compact planing boat is provided with a bulk head 12 for partitioning the engine room 10 arranged inside of a ship body 2 surrounded by a hull 3 and a deck, a water suction port 16 formed in the hull 3 to suck the water with a water jet pump, a through hole 26 formed under the bulk head 12, a mouthpiece 27 fitted to the through hole 26, a plug 28 to be removably fitted to the mouthpiece 26, a hollow drain plug 24 arranged in the peripheral edge of the water suction port 16 to fit a grate plate 19, and a hose 29 for connecting the mouthpiece 27 and the drain plug 24 to each other.
