Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify the control of phases of AC power and raise the reliability of the control, by providing AC phase control circuits made of triacs, using the circuits for two phases and automatically controlling the phases separately without controlling commutation. CONSTITUTION:When switches MS are closed to start a motor 1, contacts RY1 are turnedd on and other contacts RY2 ate turned off to separately control the phases U, W by the triacs. The commutation is automatically effected through diacs depending on the positively or negatively charged status of capacitors C2 of gate circuits. When the contacts RY2 are closed after the acceleration of the motor 1, the gate circuits are short-circuited through the diacs and the triacs for the phases U, W are entirely closed so that the motor 1 is put in rated operation. After the triacs are turned off by opening the contacts RY1, the switches MS are opened to cut off a main circuit without generating are to stop the motor 1.
